VLC Media Player - медиа-плеер, проигрывает аудио и видео файлы практически всех форматов, не требуя дополнительной установки видео кодеков (кодеки встроены в плеер).
Так же плеер без проблем воспроизводит повреждённые - испорченные или недокаченные файлы. Усиление звука до 200%…Воспроизводит потоковое видео практически любого типа Nullsoft Streaming Video (.nsv) и Real Media (.rm), включая транспортный видео поток со спутниковых карт. Может быть использован в качестве сервера для трансляции потока по протоколам IPv4 или IPv6, при условии достаточной скорости сети. Кроме этого, VLC может не только воспроизводить, но и записывать потоковое аудио/видео на компьютер.
